The month of May starts with the spine chilling horror movie The Cabin In The Woods. The film, which releases on 4 May, is about five friends who go to a remote cabin in the woods for a break. But they get more than what they had bargained for. Together, they discover the horrifying truths behind the cabin located deep inside the serene woods. Directed by Drew Goddard and starring Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth and Anna Hutchison, the movie has garnered rave reviews so far.
Hitting theatres on 11 May is an out-and-out action movie, The Raid Redemption. The shoot-and-kill film is set in the slums of Jakarta. A derelict apartment building has become a no-go area, and a safe-house for the most dangerous killers and gangsters. A SWAT team infiltrates the building under the cover of darkness to remove its owner – a notorious drug lord named Tama. The movie is directed by Gareth Evans and stars Iko Uwais, Ananda George and Ray Sahetapy.
