The success of Baahubali 2 took everyone by surprise in the industry as the Hindi dubbed version of the SS Rajamouli directorial raked in approximately Rs 510 crore at the Box-Office in India. After the success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2, a lot was spoken about how Bollywood film producers are not willing to invest a lot of money to mount a film on a humongous scale like the Baahubali franchise. The theatre owners started complaining about the lack of big screen spectacles produced by the industry and it seems that the producers and directors here took the criticism positively and worked towards overcoming the flaws.

While time shall say if the makers have a strong content to offer just like the Baahubali franchise or no, but it is indeed a great sight to see the industry unite to come out with the content that demands a big screen watch. Right from Aamir Khan to Akshay Kumar to Ajay Devgn to Varun Dhawan to Ranbir Kapoor to Arjun Kapoor will be seen in big budget period drama in the coming few years, which makes this an extremely exciting period for the industry.
