Similarly Taapsee Pannu, someone who has never shied from calling a spade a spade has given her take on the entire episode. And well, what the Pink actress had to say was very different from what we have heard about the episode so far.
Though Taapsee refused to take sides, the actress has said that an eye for an eye will eventually make the whole world blind. Just because one person is wrong does not mean we can or should do the same! Speaking to Bollywood Life in her latest interview, Taapsee said, “An attack can be verbal or physical. My point is that what’s the need to attack anyone? Like, I cannot say, ‘Okay, if this person…oh…that person had also attacked, so, attacking this person back is fair.’ An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind. That’s been said by the same Gandhi we are trying to stand up for now. So, I don’t believe in that kind of vindictive agenda. Having said that, both sides are giving the same logic. Someone says, ‘That person did that,’ another person says, ‘This person did this,’ so, it’s even annoying to make them think. Neither I nor anyone else can force them to actually think in a better way. It’s only they that can do it for themselves.”
Well that certainly explains a lot about the actor’s personality and she definitely id make her point and stand, loud and clear!
Meanwhile, on the professional front Taapsee has an interesting line up with films like Rashmi Rocket, Thappad and Shabaash Mithu in the pipeline for release. The trailer of Anubhav Sinha’s Thappad was released yesterday and the film is slated for a release on the 28th February 2020.
