With Tanushree Dutta – Nana Patekar row taking new twists and turns every passing day, superstar Akshay Kumar is the new B-Town celebrity to get linked with controversy. According to the reports in Times Now, Akshay had alleged that an old video which had his interview about a well-known actress was edited and Tanushree’s name was morphed in the clip to make it seem that Akshay spoke about her in the interview.

Having taken notice of it, Akshay approached the police and asked them to nab the culprit who was behind this. Soon after the complaint was lodged, the YouTube channel which uploaded the video, removed it. The complaint said that a few days ago, Akshay was indeed interacting with the media and was asked about another actress, however, the morphed clip had someone edit his answer with the name Tanushree and it appeared he was speaking against her.

The said video is said to be removed from YouTube but there are some channels which are still running it. You can see in the below video how the audio of the question is morphed showing Akshay Kumar being questioned about Tanushree Dutta – Nana Patekar controversy. But the reality is something else.

While talking to Hindustan Times, an officer told, “The narrative of the video was edited in a way that it looks like Kumar is expressing his views on the Dutta-Patekar controversy, which he never did. We tried to search the video on YouTube, but could not get it; probably it was blocked or removed. We have asked him to produce a copy of the video. The inquiry is going on.” The police cited that Akshay noticed that the video could hamper his reputation in public.
