Zaira Wasim yesterday took to her social media handles to break the big news of her quitting Bollywood after a career span of just 5 years. The reasons behind it were religious and created a stir of controversies dividing the industry into two sides. While most criticized her for blaming the industry for turning into a barrier with her religion, a minority chunk also supported her. Amongst the later came in Swami Chakrapani, who has created a controversy of his own!
Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha president, Swami Chakrapani, took to his Twitter and appreciated the 18-year-old further stating that the Hindu actresses should take inspiration from her.
“धार्मिक आस्था के लिए फिल्म अभिनेत्री जायरा द्वारा फिल्म से किनारा करना प्रसंसनीय,हिन्दू अभिनेत्रीयों को भी जायरा से लेंना चाहिए प्रेरणा-स्वामी चक्रपाणि महाराज-राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष-अखिल भारत हिन्दू महासभा,” Swami wrote. (Film actress Zaira Wasim has parted ways with the Film Industry for religious reason and it’s highly appreciable. Hindu actresses should take inspiration from her too!)

Zaira yesterday wrote a detailed post citing reason behind her quitting Bollywood. To start off, she wrote, “Five years ago, I made a decision that changed my life forever. As I stepped my foot in Bollywood, it opened doors of massive popularity for me. I started to become the prime candidate of public attention, I was projected as the gospel of the idea of success and was often identified as a role model for the youth. However, that’s never something that I set out to do or become, especially with regards to my ideas of success and failure, which I had just started to explore and understand.”
