Rhea Chakraborty was summoned by ED earlier this week regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. She was questioned for 8 hours and the reports from the investigation are now out.

It has been revealed that ED has found no big direct transfers from Sushant’s account to Rhea‘s or even her family.

According to Indian Express, close sources have reported that there are withdrawals of an amount close to Rs 55 lakh. These withdrawals are from Sushant’s primary account with Kotak Bank. Sources added that the agency is tracking the trail of these withdrawals from his account which had about Rs 15 crore at the beginning of the last financial year and was used to make tax and travel-related payments, among other things. ED has also found that Rhea Chakraborty is not a joint account holder in any of Sushant’s bank accounts.

It has also been reported that Rhea was asked about the instances of alleged mismatch between her income and expenses. She was asked to submit documents of her investments and income. The actress and her brother Showik Chakraborty along with Sushant Singh Rajput were reportedly partners in at least two companies i.e. Front India For World Foundation set up in January 2020 and Vividrage Rheality x Private Limited that was set up in September 2019.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. Earlier the cause of death was said to be suicide but now many people are calling it a murder.
