People have always criticized him for his moves, choices, and everything that he has done ever since his ugly spat with a super reckoning heavyweight actor. But 2013 has somehow turned tables for him. With a 100 crore entry last month and his recently released, Krrish 3 definitely entering 200 crores club soon, it has been a ‘golden year’ for our Kaal.

While Krrish 3 has received mixed reviews, one verdict was unanimously clear: Vivek stunned with his menacing Kaal and that makes him more than overjoyed. “I am really embarrassed at the moment because people are just showering praises over me. As an actor, I wanted to remind people of the talent and the caliber that I have in me and I wasn’t being able to find the right footing with my last few films. I have made a lot of sacrifices for this film and I had put in my heart and soul into Krrish 3. I had made myself a promise that until Krrish 3 releases, I won’t sign anything and just focus on this film. Having said that, Krrish 3 has been an immensely fulfilling and amazing journey and to have it right after Grand Masti, it has been awesome. One month back people were laughing with me in the slapstick space and today people are watching me as the super-villain. Life could not have been better,” laughed an excited Vivek.

The film turned out to be the highest grossing film ever, on a non-holiday, garnering over 160 crores in a matter of 7 Days.

Krrish 3 definitely has chances of being the next 200 crore earner at the India Box Office and Vivek right away delves into it. “Records are meant to be broken. People make it and then break it to set another new target. So hopefully Krrish3 will do it also. But more than that, the fact that excites me the most is they still remember me as the guy from Company, Saathiya. They remember my characters Maya Bhai and hopefully now they will remember Kaal as well. India had superheroes. Kaal had set the benchmarks for a new super villain of international standard,” he signs off.

And with a firecracker like Krrish 3, 2013 was definitely a Happy-wala Diwali for all movie-goers!
