Deols are known for being the gentlemanly sorts. However when it comes to women around them, they tend to get as protective as it gets. This is something which was pretty much up for display very recently when a co-passenger went a tad overboard on seeing the leading lady of their next film together, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2‘.
“Deols and Neha Sharma were travelling for promotion and the flight was all peaceful. On landing, they stepped into a bus that was to take them to the arrival. This is when a fan started clicking pictures of Neha. She didn’t mind that to begin with since such things are normal. In fact she took it all rather casually and kept a straight face. However things became a little too repetitive for comfort when the overzealous fan just didn’t stop and was relentless in taking pictures”, informs a source.
Sensing that Neha was getting uncomfortable, Sunny reached out to the passenger and asked him in a polite, yet stern tone, to stop taking pictures. The glare was enough as the fan sheepishly stepped aside, hence allowing the team to move on peacefully. Thankfully for him as well as the other around, the tempers stayed in control and Sunny didn’t really have a wield a ‘dhai kilo ka haath‘.
“Yes, Sunny indeed took good care of me there. All he had to tell that guy was – ‘Dude, you have taken enough photos so now stop’ and that’s it; he was gone”, smiles Neha, “It is good to be in the company of Deols who are an epitome of chivalry. They are the real men of the industry.”
Considering the fact that there is a lot of travel still required for the entire team en route to the film’s June release, it would be interesting to see if Neha gets to see a much more ferocious side of Deols as well.
