‘Suffocated’ Sooraj Pancholi QUITS Instagram, Says “I Need To Breathe”

Sooraj Pancholi has joined the list of actors bidding adieu to social media amid these testing times. After the actor’s name was dragged in the Disha Salian death case, he has announced his absence from Instagram.

Taking to his official Instagram, Sooraj Pancholi said that he needs to breath now and hence came his decision of leaving the photo-sharing platform. The Hero actor posted an Instagram story that read, “See you Instagram! Hopefully will see you someday when the world is a better place. I need to breathe #Suffocated.” The actor has deleted all posts from his Instagram handle except for the one that he posted on his 28th birthday in 2018.

For those of you unaware, Sooraj Pancholi has been at the receiving end of trolls and backlash ever since his name surfaced in the Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput case. While the actor himself and his entire family have denied all allegations and connections with both the deceased’s, Sooraj has not been spared from the trolling and backlash.

In fact in a recent interview, the actor had revealed that his family was scared for his well being and were in constant fear that he might take some drastic steps.

In a recent interview with India Today, Sooraj Pancholi said, “My mother thinks that I’m going to harm myself. And she has spoken to me a couple of times. Even after Sushant’s death, she spoke to me saying, ‘Sooraj, whatever it is, if there’s anything in your heart please come and talk to us. Don’t be quiet.’ I’m not a very talkative person when it comes to my problems. I don’t discuss with my family because I know they’re stressed because of me.”

Well, Sooraj Pancholi is not the only actor who has decided to take a break from social media. Several other actors like Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar among others have either disabled their comments section or have left the platform altogether.
