Join UsSubhash Ghai back with Kaanchi… – Subhash Ghai has announced his next film. It is called Kaanchi… and would be produced as well as directed by him. Confirms a source, “The film, as is the legacy of Ghai, would be a musical. Ismail Darbar, who had also scored for Kisna, would be the composer along with Salim-Sulaiman.” It is expected that the film would be an out and out musical extravaganza on the lines of Taal, Subhash Ghai’s last commercial super success, with a female protagonist holding centre stage. Comments an insider, “The film’s First Look has the image of a girl striking a pose while dancing on the edge of a cliff. It has the kind of imagery which is associated with Ghai heroines.” However there is no confirmation yet on who is the young actress playing this young woman. “It could be an established actress or an absolute newcomer. Stay tuned”, the source says. An actress with immense dancing prowess? The guessing game has already begun.
