This Star Could Have Replaced Sushant Singh Rajput In Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath

Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath has become a talk of the town recently after the miff between production houses – GITS and KriArj. Recently, Abhishek Kapoor’s production house GITS had decided to part ways with Kriarj Entertainment.

Apart from the controversy, the subject of the film is also been immensely talked about, a love story that is set against the backdrop of the devastating incident of 2013 floods. Abhishek has been amidst shooting the film and has completed its first schedule.

Now, Abhishek has reportedly approached Vicky Kaushal, to replace Sushant Singh Rajput. The reason behind him approaching Vicky is due to Sushant refusing to block any more unused dates for Kedarnath.

A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Gattu (Abhishek) is no stranger to replacements. During Fitoor, he sacked someone as senior and legendary as Rekha, and got Tabu on board. Kedarnath started on the wrong foot when he got the cinematographer replaced in the very first schedule. Then it was Sushant’s turn.”

The source added, “Sushant’s dates kept getting postponed over and over. Gattu expected him to be around at his beck and call. Sushant finally left for Chambal to shoot Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonechariya. This annoyed Gattu and he approached Vicky.”

The film also marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan. Apart from this film, Sushant Singh Rajput will soon be seen with Bhumi Pednakar in Son Chiriya.
