Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has irked a major debate of nepotism in Bollywood. Now, Sonu Sood has opened up about the tough times Sushant’s family must be going through. Kangana Ranaut, who has always been very vocal about her thoughts and never hesitated from speaking against nepotism, claimed Sushant’s death to be a murder and not a suicide from day one.

Queen actress Kangana Ranaut has reportedly blamed all the Bollywood biggies including Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt and others for forcing Sushant Singh Rajput to commit suicide. Although many Bollywood personalities have come in support of Kangana after her explosive interview, there is one actor who is not in favour of Miss Ranaut at all. The actor we’re talking about is Sonu Sood.

Sonu Sood in an interview to Republic TV told that, “Lot of people trying to get mileage, over this subject, that’s very unfortunate. Imagine the family living in Patna, imagine what they must be going through. People who haven’t met him in their life, and they want to sit on a debate which is unfortunate.” Without taking Kangana Ranaut’s name, Sonu indirectly took a dig at her by saying that she did not meet Sushant even once when he was alive, so why get into a debate now?

Well, this is not the first time that there is a face-off between these two. Sonu Sood had been offered a role in Kangana’s film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, but after shooting for 45 days he parted ways. Kangana blamed Sonu and spoke against him stating that Sonu did not want to work under a female director. But, Sonu Sood had a different story to tell even that time. He revealed that Kangana cut his role short which is why he distanced himself from the movie.

The only common thread between Kangana Ranaut and Sushant was Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, who was also Kangana Ranaut’s co-star in ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’.
