Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s The Zoya Akhtar released last week and despite decent reviews, the movie didn’t manage to enjoy a successful run at the box office. Speaking about her debut in digital space, the actress revealed that she was offered a role in Made In Heaven.
In a recent talk with Deccan Chronicle, Sonam said that she was approached for Amazon Prime’s Made In Heaven but she didn’t take it as she was busy with marriage preparations.
She quoted, “I got offered only one thing on the digital space, which was Made in Heaven, and I couldn’t do it because I was getting married. I don’t think I was offered anything since then.”
“I loved the script but unfortunately I couldn’t do it. I think Sobhita did an amazing job, I could not have done justice to it at all. She was really good at it, so I did see a couple of episodes, and I think it was fabulously made,” she added further.
She also said that web series require huge commitment regarding dates and she had a commitment phobia before getting married.

Recently, during a promotional event of movie The Zoya Factor, Sonam said that she thinks, she is best in comedy films.
“I think I like to skip genres with every film so, my last few films have been ‘Veere Di Wedding, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’, ‘Padman’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Neerja’. I am lucky enough that directors of those films considered me for those roles. I think I do my best in comedy films but the audience thinks I do better in films like ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘Neerja’.
