Sonam Kapoor Pens A Heartfelt Birthday Note For Raanjhanaa Co-Star Swara Bhasker

Sonam Kapoor has penned a special note for her Raanjhanaa and Veere Di Wedding co-actor Swara Bhasker on her birthday. The actresses share a strong bond of friendship since they worked together in 2013’s Raanjhanaa. Sonam wished Swara success and happiness, and also called her inspiring and courageous.

Sonam took to social media and shared throwback pictures from her wedding album and accompanied them with a lovely note, in which she wrote: “Happiest birthday, Swaru! Your courage and spunk are so inspiring. Never stop being you. Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world! I can’t wait to celebrate with you once this is over! Love you, behen!”.

Swara Bhasker and Sonam Kapoor have been thick friends as they also share the same ideologies when it comes to real-world issues. Swara and Sonam have shared screen space in Shanshanka Ghosh’s Veere Di Wedding (2018), Anand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa (2013) and the Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will start working on Sujoy Ghosh’s Blind in June 2020. The movie, starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead, is reported to be an official remake of South-Korean drama that was released in 2011. She was last seen in The Zoya Factor, alongside Dulquer Salmaan.
