Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming film Akira will touch upon the issue of rising number of ‘Acid Attack’ cases in the country.
Sonakshi says A R Murugadoss has portrayed the lives of the victims in the film. She said, “A R Murugadoss has indeed touched upon the burning issue of acid attacks on innocent girls in some parts of our country. It is one of the most important plots in our film as Akira’s father decides she should learn self-protection and enrolls her in a karate camp where girls are generally sent to music or dance or handicraft coaching institutes. It is Akira’s father who taught her to stand up for what is right, to not be dependent on anyone by herself.”

Sonakshi gearing up for mutli-city promotion of her film Akira. She wil be traveling to Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Delhi.
Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in an all-out action avatar in AR Murugadoss’s directorial Akira. Presented by Fox Star Studios Akira will hit the theatres on September 2, 2016.
