It all began when Salman Khan spotted the plump Sonakshi at Amrita Arora’s sangeet (Now here’s a fat-to-fab story common to Sonakshi and the Aisha star Sonam Kapoor). Sonakshi says that it was her Indian outfit that convinced Salman that she should play the part of Rajjo in Dagangg. Salman offered her the role, and who can refuse Salman Khan!
Salman then took the budding beauty under his wing and helped her get in shape by making her jog all the way from their rooms to the shooting location. Sallu’s love for painting rubbed off her and Sonakshi’s all into art now!
With ‘Shotgun’ Shatrughan Sinha for father and Salman Khan as her co-star, debutante Sonakshi Sinha is one lucky star-kid.
