Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently busy promoting her film Khandaani Safakhana, is in trouble. A complaint was filed against her in Uttar Pradesh in 2018.

Now reports say that the Moradabad police visited her residence on Thursday. The complainant reported that the actress was supposed to perform at an event in Delhi.

Sonakshi couldn’t attend the event and hence an FIR was filed against her by one of the organisers. The Juhu police confirmed the same saying that Moradabad police had asked them for the support. It is also being said that they wanted to record her statement but she wasn’t there at home. The police can revisit her place again for the same.

Since there is a lot of unverified information doing rounds, Sonakshi took to twitter to share what exactly happened and requested the media not to pay heed to such unwarranted claims.
She posted, “An event organizer who couldn’t live up to his commitment obviously thinks he can make a fast buck by maligning my crystal clear image in the press. There is full cooperation with the authorities from my end for the investigation to be conducted. Would request the media not to fan these bizarre claims of an unscrupulous man.”

Well, Sonakshi’s side of the story is still awaited.

On the work front, she will be soon seen in Khandaani Safakhana, Mission Mangal and Dabangg 3.
