Join UsSonakshi Sinha can pretty much expect a royal treatment for herself. With Rowdy Rathore hitting the bull’s eye, she is now the only leading lady (other than Kareena Kapoor and Asin) who has more than one Rs. 100 crore film on the list.
An industry trade veteran comments, “Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar has raced towards the 100 crore mark. Meanwhile Salman Khan would definitely gift Sonakshi another century before year end once his Dabangg 2 releases. Sonakshi is on a roll and her moves have paid off well.”
This means that she will be competing with the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Asin who have been enjoying the maximum number of centuries up their sleeves. While Kareena rules 3 Idiots, Ra.One, Bodyguard and Golmaal 3, Asin has three in the form of Housefull 2, Ready and Ghajini.
“Both would add at least one more before close of year since their Talaash and Bol Bachchan are bound to cross the 100 crore mark,” the trade veteran adds, “However Sonakshi would be the newest in the business to achieve the feat this year. Moreover her Son Of Sardar and Joker could turn out to be huge as well.”
Well, that holds true for Kareena as well who has Heroine too arriving before close of year. However for the time being, it is pretty much an open playground that Sonakshi is enjoying for herself and the girl is making the most of it.
