So Sad! No Audio Launch For Rajinikanth’s Kabali

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is gaining a wide momentum. But, if sources are anything to go by, the plan for the audio launch of the film has been scrapped and the music will now directly hit the stores on June 12.

“Rajinikanth sir is holidaying in the US and he won’t be present in the country around the time of the launch. Hence, the makers decided to have a soft launch instead,” said a source from the film’s unit.

Santosh Narayanan has composed the music and the film has been directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film is based on a real-life don from Chennai, and Rajinikanth’s character is modelled after him.

Also starring Radhika Apte, Kalaiyarasan, Winston Chao, Dinesh Ravi and Dhansika, the film is produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu.
