1. This is the second time that Tusshar Kapoor is playing the role of a criminal. While he plays a small-time goon who sells pirated books in Shor In The City, he played Dilip ‘Buvabhai’ Buva in Shootout At Lokhandwala before.

2. Actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who got married on 7th March this year, postponed his honeymoon on Ekta Kapoor’s orders so that he could promote the film.

3. After ‘Shor In The City’ , Sendhil Ramamurthy will return to the US for his new series, ‘Covert Affairs’ in which he plays a CIA agent.

4. ‘Shor In The City’ has won acclaim at some major film festivals around the world. ‘Shor…’ was shortlisted at the Cannes Film Festival, won the Best Short Film at the MIAAC Film Festival, New York, and the Best Cinematography award at the San Francisco INTL Festival of Shorts.

5. Radhika Apte, who plays Tusshar Kapoor’s wife Sapna, in the film, has two films releasing on Friday (29th April): ‘Shor In The City’ and I Am.

6. Preeti Desai, who makes her Bollywood acting debut in’ Shor…’ won the Miss UK pageant in 2006 after the original winner, Danniele Lloyd, was stripped of her crown amid allegations that the competition was fixed.

7. Preeti Desai did not have any scenes with Tusshar Kapoor in the film. She finally got to interact with him during the promotion of the film only.

8. Actor Pitobash, who will be seen in a whacky role in ‘Shor…’ is an FTII graduate and has done small roles in as many as nine films. His last film was  Mirch.

9. Although Tusshar Kapoor plays a book pirate in the film, in real life, the actor is not really interested in reading fiction. He prefers to spend his time in the gym instead.

10. If you have loved the Saibo song from ‘Shor…’, it is because Sachin-Jigar, the hit music director pair of F.A.L.T.U. fame have composed the music for the film. The music album also includes one song by the Indian rock band, ‘Agnee’.
