From last few days, a lot of speculations have been made about Irrfan Khan’s health after he posted a press statement on his official Twitter handle. In his issue, he had mentioned about a rare disease and he is fighting with it, and won’t give up.

Soon the media houses started speculating that the Hindi Medium actor is suffering from brain cancer. But the spokesperson of the actor rubbished all the rumours and put the speculations to rest. Today, director Shoojit Sircar said that Irrfan is fine now and there’s nothing to worry about.

While speaking to the media at the trailer launch event of his next October starring Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu, Shoojit spoke about Irrfan’s on-going health issue. He said, “I think Irrfan Khan has already put a press statement and he has also requested not to speculate anything. And I think we should, he is the only actor who is called a Hollywood star in our country who has worked with top directors there. I have met him twice and he will soon issue another statement. All your questions will be answered. He is a nice man and I am very close to him. So please don’t worry, he is fine now. He will issue a public statement and you will come to know everything. I request you all to not speculate anything till then.”

Irrfan Khan and Shoojit Sircar have worked together in Piku which also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the pivotal roles.

Well, we hope for Irrfan’s speedy recovery and request all the media houses to not speculate about his health anymore.
