After going through several rumors, the official announcement regarding Shilpa Shetty’s debut has finally come out. A few days back, it was learnt that the actress is reading some scripts and said to make a special appearance in Dostana 2. Now, she is all set to feature along with newbies of Bollywood.
Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram handle to announce her comeback. She wrote, ” Yesssssssss, it’s true! My sabbatical of 13 long years comes to an end.. I am so excited to announce that the film you will see me next in is #Nikamma , directed by @sabbir24x7 (cast still being finalised) featuring these amazing and talented actors @abhimanyud @shirleysetia @sonypicturesin. Need all your blessings and Thank you for all the love always.”

She will be seen along with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota fame Abhimanyu Dassani and YouTube star Shirley Setia in Nikamma, which will be helmed by Sabbir Khan.
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in a special appearance in 2014 movie, Dishkiyaoon and in Apne (2007) with a fully-fledged role.
“It feels great. I am ready to take the plunge again. It’s a refreshing and unique project, and I am looking forward to working with Sabbir. I loved my role as it’s something that I have never attempted before. I can’t wait for the audience to see me in a new avatar,” Shilpa added to Times Of India on her comeback.
