WHAT! Shilpa Shetty’s Nikamma Co-Star Abhimanyu Dassani Knew About The Surrogacy News Way Before It Broke Out

After his debut film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, Abhimanyu Dassani might have been away from the big screen for a year now but he is sure that his next two films will be a treat for his fans. The actor will be seen in Nikamma alongside Shilpa Shetty and Shirley Shethia and recently revealed that he had known about Shilpa Shetty’s baby for a while now.

This came as a shocker for everyone when Shilpa Shetty announced the arrival of her baby girl Samisha on February 15th. She and husband Raj Kundra welcomed the baby through surrogacy and Abhimanyu had known about it before the news was let out in public. Opening up about the same, the actor revealed that he is excited to meet the baby girl now.

“As soon as I get half a day off, I am going to Delhi to spend time with her. I’d known about Shilpa’s big news for a while now,” told Dassani to Mumbai Mirror. He also talked about his other film Aankh Micholi with Mrunal Thakur and Paresh Rawal and said that he is treating the shoot for the film as his acting workshop and not a movie.

“My first was a festival film, the second is a commercial entertainer, the third, a comedy and the fourth, a romance,” said Abhimanyu talking about working on different genres of films. He also revealed that he will like to work with Ayan Mukerji, Neeraj Pandey, Abhishek Chaubey, Zoya Akhtar and reunite with Vasan Bala in the coming future.

Talking about Shilpa Shetty’s little angle, the actress recently threw a party to welcome the munchkin home.
