Shatrughan Sinha took to Twitter and clarified about the same, “The last item/ agenda of our Lahore/Pakistan trip was to attend the most publicised and talked about of our brother like family friend Mian Assad’s son, Ahmad’s marriage reception with Heena.”
In another tweet, he added, “The made for each other couple’s reception was very well attended by best of the professionals, best of the people of glamour world, entrepreneurs, bureaucrats besides who’s who of Lahore/ pakistan on the eve of our departure. Next morning to delhi India, here are some of the shots of the event with us & our people. Mission accomplished, long live the couple.”

The news went viral all over social media after pictures and videos of the wedding, in which Sinha can be seen at the venue, were posted by a user on Instagram. The user has been identified as a local photographer in Lahore.
The videos and snapshots of the wedding show Sinha attending a qawwali night. Sinha is seen with Pakistani actress Reema Khan in one video, looking dapper in a black suit and trademark scarf around his neck, also in black.
