Shahid Kapoor, son of Pankaj Kapur & Nilima Azim, has a big family thanks to both his parents remarrying after they divorced. So his father Pankaj and his wife, Supriya Pathak will be greeting guests. His mother Nilima Azim will be attending. While Shahid doesn’t have a brother or sister, he has three half siblings. Sanaa & Ruhaan, Pankaj & Supriya’s daughter & son, will attend as will his half brothers, Nilima’s son, Ishaan Khattar, will also be present here. Ishaan, training to be a dancer under Shiamak Davar like big brother Shahid, is very close to the star & aspires to be an actor like him.
Shahid’s family is also close to Naseeruddin Shah & Ratna Pathak (Supriya’s sister), so the Shahs along with Vivaan Shah, their son will be attending the ceremonies.
Amongst Shahid’s Bollywood friends, Bosco the choreographer is expected to be present as is producer Madhu Mantena. Shahid’s friends amongst actresses Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor & Alia Bhatt are expected to add doses of filmy glamour here.
Vishal Bharadwaj & wife Rekha are expected to attend as is Abhishek Chaubey, director of his forthcoming Udta Punjab.
While most guests have also chosen to remain tight lipped on their plans for the wedding, a fair amount of Bollywood star power will be lighting up the streets of Gurgaon for this grand affair!
