Shahid Kapoor confirmed the news during the press-conference of Udta Punjab by saying, “I am not doing that film anymore. Right now, after Rangoon, I am unemployed.”

When asked about his next film AK vs SK, he (Shahid) replied, “That will not be made anymore.”

Shahid Kapoor will now soon go for a paternity break, as his wife Mira Rajput is due for the next few months.

Shahid’s Udta Punjab is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and it also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh in key roles.
