Join UsEven as paparazzi and TV cameras queue up outside the posh Palladium Hotel in the middle of Mumbai’s office district, Lower Parel, Shahid Kapoor & his bride Mira Rajput must be putting finishing touches in preparation for a grand reception.
Shahid’s Mumbai reception is expected to be attended by the who’s who of Bollywood; Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor, Vishal & Rekha Bharadwaj, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Vikas Bahl, Sidharth Roy Kapur, Karan Johar are on the guest list among many others. A cobalt blue classy invitation card with a silver border was sent out to all invitees, the first one being sent out to Kareena Kapoor Khan & Saif Ali Khan. Interestingly, Mira’s name precedes Shahid’s in the invitation card.
The dominant cuisine at this reception is Pan Asian, for the Palladium hotel has two celebrated Asian restaurants. The menu includes Vietnamese Pha (Soup & Noodles), Shahid’s favourite Thai Green Curry and Jasmine Rice. Dessert is a mix of Indian & western sweet dishes.
Having made an impressive debut as judge on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Shahid Kapoor will return to work immediately from Tuesday onwards. The actor is currently working on ‘Udta Punjab’, a film that demands him to remain in shape for quite some time.
