Deepika Padukone recently bashed a leading publication for making news out of her indecent shots. The popular leading daily reported Deepika’s ‘cleavage’ shots calling it an ‘oops’ moment for her. Certainly, agitated with such journalism Deepika lashed out at the daily on Twitter and received a lot of support from the film fraternity over it.
While there were also talks about the opportune time for such a controversy considering that Deepika’s Finding Fanny had just hit the theaters as well as her upcoming film Happy New Year being in its promotion phase, her friends from the industry stood by her.

Just when questions arose on this controversy at the Happy New Year music launch held yesterday, SRK quipped in favor of Dippy and said, “Let’s not make this a topic of conversation. I support whatever Deepika tweeted and the entire cast of Happy New Year stands by it. We men have never had the guts to do what she has done. We stand by what she has said and respect her for it. We are in a business where we get photographed a lot and these things will keep happening. We all feel for her. We should not trivialize the issue any further.”
