Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees Release To Be Pushed To 2017?

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees was earlier slated to release this Eid. The July release was all set to clash with Salman Khan’s big release, Sultan. But later, we reported that the clash will now be averted since Shah Rukh decided to postpone Raees to Diwali this year.

Unfortunately, the Diwali slot has already been booked by Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Looks like, it will be difficult to convince either of the duo to push their dates ahead and hence Shah Rukh has still kept the decision on hold. The problem is that all the holiday slots have already been booked. Christmas was the only other option this year, but that too has been booked by Aamir Khan’s Dangal.

The Fan star is hoping to have a solo release for Raees so as to make a good collection. In fact, a lot of other filmmakers are still waiting to announce their film release dates, since they don’t want to clash with SRK’s Raees.

With no holiday slots remaining this year, it seems Raees will take a 2017 January release.
