Koimoi Reader, Mr. Ayaz Mahmood, from Italy (City: Trento), is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Truly fond of Bollywood movies since childhood, Ayaz has poured his heart out for his Favourite Khan. Take a look:

I want and I could write a book on him, but I shall limit myself to writing only 1000 words. How and where should I begin? Who is Shah Rukh Khan?

Shah Rukh Khan is the person whose death would be more painful than the death of a beloved one. He is a living legend that establishes in the depths of our hearts, and our souls now belong to him and only to him. But why is there such an intense and sincere love towards an ordinary person like him? His essence goes beyond the desire of a child or a mother’s prayer and goes beyond our dreams and happiness and believe me, there is nothing more normal than this. His image has exceeded his being himself, but yet he remains immanent to fame and glory. Each of his films is the quintessence of love, simplicity and beauty of this world.

Knowing Shah Rukh Khan and wholeheartedly loving him has become the main purpose of my life and I thank God for this. If I could I would like to make him known to the whole world and I want everyone to love him equally as I do. I consider myself divinely lucky to be born in the era in which exists this name: Shahrukh Khan! I could not ask for more from life.

What to say about his films? Relentless and ruthless in Baazigar, an obsessive lover in Darr, a sublime lover with an amazing comic timing in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ is a complete film in which are contained all of his most outstanding expressions and not to mention to his sizzling chemistry with Kajol and the strong representation of eternal love), a perfect lover in Pardes, a lovable stage director in Dil To Pagal Hai, an innocent boy and at the same time a shrewd and brutal individual in Duplicate, a full lover in Dil Se, a phenomenal lover in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, a very clever and gamesome detective in Baadshah, an aura of absolute positivity in Mohabbatein, a lover that knows no obstacles in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (all scenes between SRK and Kajol are out of this world!!) a jealous and suspicious husband in Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, an alcohol dependent in Devdas, an extraordinary lover and the show stealer in Kal Ho Naa Ho (this film is among the best films ever in Bollywood!!), a brave soldier in Main Hoon Na, a lover who does not know anything but love itself in Veer-Zaara (a story that makes you in tears every time you watch it), a NASA scientist in Swades (every scene of this film is light for eyes), a little arrogant lover, but full of intense emotions in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, a fascinating and insightful Don in Don – The Chase Begins Again, a strict but ambitious coach in Chak De India, a junior artist and a superstar in Om Shanti Om, a common man who struggles to win the love of his wife in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, an autistic Muslim man in My Name is Khan, a superhero in Ra One, a even more fascinating Don in Don 2, a lover and a simple soldier without fear in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, a common man in Chennai Express, a sublime dancer and a magnificent thief in Happy New Year. And I bet that all of you are madly waiting for the release of Fan not only because of the fact that Shah Rukh Khan will have a dual role, but also for the fact that in some way the film will represent us directly as the whole world is a fan of SRK. Every character played by this man is magnificently perfect and with sureness we can say that his charm will never wear out.

This man can and has shown everyone that he can excel in every kind of film, be it a comedy, thriller or action, but as we all know the genre revolutionized by SRK is the romantic genre. With his top-notch acting he completely mesmerized everyone; that is why it would not be wrong call him the King of Romance or even better the King of Bollywood!

At the age of 49 he is more alive than ever, his dimples speak clearly, his smile makes our hearts melt, his way of speaking makes us want to listen to him always, his love for people is getting stronger, his hairstyle makes us feel something indescribable (strange to say, but his hairstyle too has his own refinement ), its position of open arms reminds us all of the most beautiful songs of his films like “Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam” (DDLJ), “Kal ho naa ho” (Kal Ho Naa Ho), “Suraj hua maddham” (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham), “Do pal” (Veer-Zaara) and so many more.

As the box office is concerned Shahrukh Khan remain the biggest crowd puller outside India and in India the historic opening day belongs to him with the film Happy New Year (44.97crs). Just mindblowing!!

There would be a billion things to say about him, but I would not fall into banality; furthermore I feel a sinking feeling when I speak about or tell about my idol, or when on Tv one of his films is played. It would be a moment of greatest happiness for me when one day I will meet him and I hope that this day will come soon. I would like to wish Shahrukh Khan and his family all the happiness of this world and I hope he continues to entertain us in this way with its wonderful films. If I could wish that I could not ever get old, I’d donate the wish to him. I want to end this speech with a phrase taken from the song “Saans” (Jab Tak Hai Jaan): “Saans me teri, saans mili toh, mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi, Mujhe saans aayi …” (Translation: “When your breath mixed in my breath, I was able to breathe, I was able to breathe, I was able to breathe…”)

I love you, S-s-s-Shah Rukh!!
