Fans of Shah Rukh Khan have been waiting with bated breath for the actor to announce his next film. Last seen in Aanand L Rai’s 2018 debacle, Zero, King Khan has been missing from the silver screen for a very long time now. But looks like the wait might soon be over. It is being speculated that YRF head honcho Aditya Chopra is all set to announce a film with SRK.
Now it is a known fact that Shah Rukh Khan has had an illustrious journey with Yash Raj Films. So it is only fitting that the actor makes his comeback with the banner on the occasion of the late veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra’s 88th birth anniversary.

Opening up about a big announcement from Aditya Chopra for a film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, a certain source has spilled the beans to Pinkvilla. The source has revealed, “This is definitely on the cards because Adi is expected to unveil his grand plans for YRF Project 50 on Yash Chopra’s 88th birthday. Yash Chopra, SRK and Adi share a beautiful bond and it is only befitting that SRK’s film with YRF gets announced on this date. It will truly be a special and emotional day for the industry.”

The trade source further added, “There is bound to be a lot of nostalgia and great energy around this announcement. SRK’s film is going to be mounted on another level altogether and we just have to wait for Adi to reveal all the plans as we go along. Of course, YRF is extremely tight-lipped about the entire YRF Project 50 because they want to announce it in a big way.”
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that Shah Rukh Khan has signed for a film by Siddharth Anand, the director of WAR. It is being stated that the film will be titled Pathan and SRK will start shooting for the film from November 2020 in the UK.
