Yes, don’t rub your eyes in disbelief! For, you read it right. The previous highest number of screens a film was released in was Shah Rukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan. The number then was around 400. That means, Ra.One will open on 26th October in more than double the number of screens of MNIK. Of the 904 screens, around 350 screens will show it in 3D.
Ra.One 3D Prints: Delay Feared
It is learnt from very reliable sources that the 3D prints of Ra.One may not reach all their destinations on Wednesday, October 26, the day the film is scheduled to release. While the 3D version may be released in some cinemas on Wednesday itself, it may come a day later in other cinemas. The delay is a result of the delay in completion of 3D work – and the completion itself has taken more time because the visual effects were completed late.
