Bollywood Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Boman Irani who are renowned in the Hindi Film fraternity have been served with a notice by the Cyberabad Police in relation to the QNet scam. Now what exactly is the QNet scam?
It is where the scammers persuade the masses to invest money and they are promised to get money on purchasing and selling of products. Now these Bollywood actors have replied to the police officials in relation with the same.
According to the officials, the film-stars have responded to the police on 1st August. The other three out of the six actors though have not responded to the same. Vivek Oberoi, Pooja Hegde and Jackie Shroff, have overlooked the notice given by the Economic Offences Wing of Cyberabad for the second time. The last date to reply was on 1st August.
In an interview with ANI Raghavender, ACP Of Economic Offences Wing said, ”Earlier in the month of February, we have served notices to around 500 members including prominent Bollywood actors in QNet scam case. There was no reply from the Bollywood stars and we again served notices to Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Vivek Oberoi and Pooja Hegde on July 25th and asked them to reply before August 1st”.

He further stated that, “As the stars have participated in many QNet promotional events , we asked them whether they are having any agreement on transactions with QNet company. Yesterday, counsels on behalf of Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Boman Irani appeared before us and gave reply to our notices. Now we are verifying the authenticity of their replies. We are still waiting for the replies from the three other actors”.
The QNet company was founded by Vijay Eeshwaran and Joseph Bismark. The CEO of the company is Michael Ferreira and Malcolm Desai. The company’s branches are there globally .
