Shah Rukh Khan & Cricket

Shah Rukh Khan, it seems, has something going for cricket. And not just because he owns a team in IPL. The actor, who had wielded the bat for Rajiv Mehra’s Chamatkar in 1992, will soon return to the game of cricket for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Ferrari Ki Sawaari. The film will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, an associate of Rajkumar Hirani.

It tells the story of a young boy whose dream to play cricket at Lords in England comes true because of a Ferrari. While Chopra had offered Shah Rukh the lead roles in his previous films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and 3 Idiots, they could never work together for some reason or the other.
