Richa Chadha and Akshaye Khanna will soon be seen in a courtroom drama titled as Section 375. The makers have launched the digital article of the film in a very innovative and intriguing way. Teaser will be out tomorrow.

The poster is creative from the word go! It’s a snapshot of an article from the newspaper which headlines as ‘Film director has been taken into custody on charges of rape under Section 375‘.

Section 375 highlights how a critical law meant for the safety of women can be misused. As the title suggests, the film will delve into the particular section as defined in the Indian Penal Code. The actress started shooting for “Section 375” on Monday here. The first leg of the schedule will be shot here.

Talking about her experience of working with Akshaye, Richa recently said in a statement: “I have admired Akshaye Khanna’s work in offbeat films like ‘Gandhi, My Father‘ and the cult film ‘Dil Chahta Hai‘. I am really delighted that I can team up with him for this one. He is brilliant, so underrated and intelligent.”

The project is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak.
