The movie not only has been a box-office mega success for the makers but also have amassed love from critics and audiences. It opened to raving reviews in India last Diwali and clashed with Golmaal Again.
Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim recently attended Hong Kong Film Awards and also walked the red carpet over there. Aamir Khan was seen at an event grooving on the tunes of the song Sexy Baliye from the film. He nailed the moves as he has done in the song. Check out the video a fan-page posted on Instagram:
Aamir Khan was seen sporting what is called as probable Thugs Of Hindostan look. He was wearing a simple pale blue shirt paired with chocolaty brown pants with his trademarked thick-bezel glasses.
Secret Superstar is written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. Apart from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong the film has also released in markets like the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE and other Gulf countries as well as Pakistan.

In Secret Superstar, Zaira, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir, plays a teenage girl named Insia who dreams of becoming a singer. The film is about how she fulfils her dreams by keeping her identity hidden.
Even after the movie’s humongous success, Aamir has always maintained that one can’t just determine the success of the film with numbers.
“Box office numbers are just one yardstick about the success of a film. If you see the numbers, we have earned double than the budget of the film. Normally, the film which recover its cost is called a hit, then this film should be called a super hit,” he said.
