Sanju Trailer Launch: Ranbir Kapoor Says, “Not Shy To Go Nude On Camera”

After releasing the intriguing teaser and some amazing posters, the makers of Sanju finally released the much awaited trailer today at an event. Present at the trailer launch were Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

Before the trailer was launched today, the team of Sanju showed the teaser of the film. If you guys have seen the trailer of the film, there’s a nude scene of Ranbir as Sanjay Dutt in it.

The nude scene in the trailer was from his jail days and it is quite emotional and heart wrenching. During the press conference, Ranbir was asked if he was shy to do that particular scene in the film, he quipped that he has been nude since his first film. He said, “I have been nude since my first film (Saawariya) where my towel fell down. I am very shy in real but when the camera is on I am not shy as I am portraying a character. So you have to be nude emotionally and physically.”

Further the makers were also asked about the censor certificate, to which Vidhu Vinod Chopra said that they are looking for a U certificate.

Talking about the trailer, we also saw Vicky Kaushal in it. During the media interaction, the makers were asked about Salman Khan being in the film since he is also closer to Sanjay. Speaking about it, Rajkumar Hirani said, “Vicky Kaushal is not playing Salman Khan in the film I can say that (laughs). Vicky is actually a mix of Sanjay Dutt’s friends. There’s a friend of Sanju named Paresh who stays in USA. Vicky has his traits.”
