Actor-turned-producer Sanjay Kapoor, who is producing his nephew Arjun Kapoor’s Tevar, says he never thought Arjun would become an actor some day.
Sanjay Kapoor says, “I am close to Arjun, and that was the reason why I was worried for him when he said he is becoming an actor. I had never thought Arjun would become an actor. I had put him to assist Karan Johar thinking that he would become a director but one day I heard he is becoming an actor and I said ‘Yeh pagal ho gaya hain’.”

“To be an actor you have to be fit. Then, I thought, at least in this way he will lose weight. He showed tremendous willpower, lost weight and is now extremely fit,” he added.

Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar features Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Monoj Bajpai among others.
Well, what prompted him to cast Sonakshi Sinha in the film? He explains, “She is an Indian beauty and has her own charm. She is a great performer but I think her talent is yet to be tapped. She has come in big commercial hits with big stars, but the film that she was really good in (Lootera) unfortunately didn’t do well. You will see her brightness in a big commercial film like Tevar but she has lot more to do. She is much more talented than people think.”
