Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with cancer. The actor was hospitalised last Saturday when he complained of breathlessness. However, it was just within 2 days that he returned home claiming he was ‘doing well.’
Now, it is being said that Sanjay has Stage 3 cancer. The news has been confirmed by sources close to the actor. Although curable, the disease needs immediate treatment for which Dutt will be travelling to the US.
A source close to Bollywood Hungama reveals the same as, “Baba (Sanjay Dutt) is devastated. He has little children. Fortunately, they are in Dubai right now with their mother. But breaking this awful news to them would be an ordeal.”

Furthermore, the report further adds that Sanjay Dutt is hopeful. “It is curable. He needs instant and rigorous treatment for which he leaves immediately,” adds the source.
This comes in just days after the KGF 2 actor was hospitalised. On 8th August, he was rushed to hospital after he witnessed low oxygen saturation levels. Sanjay was admitted to Lilavati hospital and the doctors conducted multiple tests for assessment. COVID-19 was confirmed to be out of the picture then itself.
Sanjay Dutt even took to Twitter and shared that he was alright. He wrote, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings”
The actor even today afternoon tweeted that he was taking a short break from work. He asked his fans not to worry or ‘unnecessarily speculate.’
