Salman’s Hit-and-Run Case: Witnesses Identify Actor To Have Been In The Driver’s Seat

Salman Khan’s 2002 Hit-and-Run case has been an on-going trial for quite some time now. This case has hit a roadblock ample of times and it seems with each trial, the case is getting more entangled.

Two witnesses related to the case deposed in court today. In a turn of events, one of the witnesses, who is a parking attendant at the JW Mariott claimed to have seen the actor in his driver’s seat on the day of the accident. The witness has testified against the actor saying he was even given a Rs 500 tip by Salman while on his way out in the Toyota Land Cruiser.

Also the second witness who was present at the scene of the accident claimed to have seen people shouting at the actor after his car had crashed. Both the witnesses confirmed that singer Kamal Khan was seen on the back seat of the car.

While the last hearing was slated for September 24th, due to Salman’s lawyer being unwell, the trial was further adjourned to October. After today’s hearing, the next trial will now be held on November 5th.
