“Salman Never Approached Me For A Role” – Riteish Deshmukh

Bollywood’s Tiger – Salman Khan plays a cameo in Nishikanth Kamath’s upcoming Marathi movie Lai Bhaari. Riteish Deshmukh, who will debut as an actor in Marathi Film Industry with this film, thanked the superstar for his “gracious offer”.

Lai Bhaari marks Riteish’s third Marathi production venture, after Balak Palak and Yellow. While Salman will be seen in a special appearance in the film, Riteish took to Twitter yesterday to thank Sallu and wrote, “Correction: Salman Khan never approached me for a role – but he graciously offered to be a part of #LaiBhaari – #Respect.”

Lai Bhaari, that will hit the theatres on July 11, has been co-produced by Riteish’s banner Mumbai Film Company and Cinemantra Entertainment.
