One must have grabbed onto news headlines, alongside their daily cup of morning tea or coffee, with Salman Khan’s return to the silver screen being an area of discussion ever since his next now-untitled-previously-titled Mental film was announced!
When reports of Mental releasing on October 2, with all the festive dates being priorly booked by his contemporaries, the team came out in public to discard the piece of news, tagging it as an imagination. But then as our Dabangg hero started shooting for the film in March, eye balls were hooked to the papers for its tentative release date.
Another certain n November 22 release date created a lot of brouhaha before Sohail Khan jumped into foray and clarified that he is not contemplating a release this November, but is trying to work it out for a 2013 release anyway. While all this was busy making tabloids sell in huge counts, another news that shook the entertainment world today is the new change in the film’s title.
Rumour mills reported that Salman, is not happy with the title Mental and is not even keen to have it as the film’s official title. And when Bhaijaan has committed once, ab toh who kisi ki bhi nahi sunega! That leaves Sohail and his entire crew chewing their grey cells up to bring out another gripping title, which suits the film’s ambience as well as Salman’s machismo with pure conviction.
Adding on to this, a source squashed aside reports of the film being titled Mental saying that the film was never meant to be titled Mental. It was jut a working title, which some one who got a whiff of, used to the Media. The media has started calling the film so ever since then.
Sohail and Salman who are searching for a new creative title for their film is still unsure about the exact release date of the film. Whether there would be no Salmania around this year is a question that everyone’s having on their minds! But the million dollar question now is, if its not called Mental, what would be Salman’s film titled?
