Now, with three days to for the state elections, it is his real-life longtime bodyguard and confidant Gurmeet Singh aka Shera who has decided to grab the limelight.
Shera after serving his loved superstar for years has decided to venture into politics with the political organization Shiv Sena. Yes, you read that right, Shera will be contesting in these state elections that are due this Monday. The famous personality joined Shiv Sena on Friday.
Shive Sena took to their social media front and announced the news of Shera joining the party on Twitter and wrote, “अभिनेते सलमान खान जी यांचे निष्ठावंत व विश्वासू गुरमीत सिंग उर्फ शेरा जी यांनी आज मातोश्री निवासस्थानी येथे शिवसेना पक्षप्रमुख मा. श्री. उद्धव साहेब ठाकरे आणि युवासेनाप्रमुख @AUThackeray यांच्या उपस्थितीत शिवसेनेत जाहीर प्रवेश केला.” The tweet roughly read that the party welcomed Shera and is very happy to have him represent them at the elections.

Shera joined the party in the presence of the party chief Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena President Aditya Thackeray at their residence Matoshree. There are pictures of the same on the twitter handle.
Maharashtra state elections are scheduled on October 21 following which the vote will be counted on October 24. Meanwhile, Salman released the posters of his much-awaited films Dabangg 3 and Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and took the internet by storm.
