Salman Khan has been approached for the role of the lead villain in the third installment of Race series. Interestingly, after hearing the basic idea of the film, the actor had shown much interest and asked the producers to approach him with a proper script.
According to reports, a script is now in place and soon, Salman will be going over it. If the actor gives a nod to this project, this will be the first time in his career that he will be seen playing a grey character.

After directing the first two installments, Abbas Mustan will not be working on the third one and we hear, the producers are on a look out for young directors who can take the series’ stylish nature a notch higher.

Currently, Salman is shooting for his next with Kabir Khan, titled Tubelight, post which he will be working on Tiger Zinda Hai with director Ali Abbas Zafar. Race 3 is expected to go on the floors by 2018.
