After creating uproar over his controversial tweets on Yakub Memon on Sunday morning, Salman Khan retracted the same on Twitter yesterday. The actor who had earlier tweeted in support of the 1993 serial blasts accused Yakub Memon stating that not him, his brother must be hanged was highly criticized all over for his statements. Salman’s father, Salim Khan too stepped into this matter by calling him ‘ignorant’.
After facing flak for his tweets and getting termed as ‘anti-national’, the actor aapologized for his comments.
He later tweeted, :
I have not said or implied that Yakub Memon is innocent. I have complete faith in the judicial system of our country.

Many fans called this act of Salman a drunk texting antic since he is known for his brash behaviour.
