Salman Khan Moves To High Court Against The Complaint On His Website

Actor Salman Khan has been having a rough year, as the actor is incessantly landing up in trouble. With no movie of his scheduled for release this year, the actor has faced the guns in his 2002 Land Cruiser Hit and Run Case, as the charges against him were intensified. To avoid any unnecessary media speculations, the actor had launched a website of his case files with a disclaimer stating his reasons.

There was a official complaint filed against the actor by Hemant Patil charging him with contempt of court. Posting court proceedings on a public website, is disregarding the court as the matters are deemed subjudice.

Salman Khan clarified his stand on the issue saying he is a public figure and incorrect reporting about him was hampering his public image. On the basis of that the actor has requested the complaints against him to be dismissed. The ‘contempt of court’ case will be heard in the High Court and accordingly charges will be admitted on the same.
