Salman Khan is a genre in himself and the space that the actor has carved for himself in the industry is not something that anyone can overtake. And when an actor of his stature says that he finds his work cringeworthy, it sure does come as a shocker to us!

In his recent conversation, the Wanted actor has however said that it is good to sometimes cringe at one’s own work because that helps an actor do better than what he already has. Speaking to Miss Malini, Salman Khan has been quoted saying, “Sometimes when I do watch the earlier work either I cringe on it, or I say to myself that this was good and why am I not doing this kind of stuff more.”

He further went on to say, “Sometimes I do cringe at my own work and it is a good sign. Every last film of mine I watch I say, ‘What rubbish was that’ because only then can you grow and work harder. If you’re very impressed with yourself and say yaar kya kaam kar diya (wow, what an amazing job) then how is that a good thing. You cannot be praising yourself, other people have to praise you and after a while, you are supposed to stop listening to those praises. You cannot get carried away by the praises.”

Coming back to Dabangg 3, the film is the third installment to Khan’s much-loved franchise, Dabangg and will see Salman Khan reprise his iconic character of Chulbul Pandey alongside Sonakshi Sinha who also returns as Rajjo!

Directed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 also features south superstar Sudeep Kichcha and marks the debut of Saiee Manjrekar, the daughter of veteran actor Mahesh Majrekar. The film is slated to release on the 20th December 2019.
