And after strolling through an excruciating part of the year which barely gave any vivacious releases saving for a bunch of gems, the reign of out and out commercial entertainers will be unveiled this month with the release of Kick next Friday. With the film’s songs and trailer sucking out such a brilliant feedback, the most enticing thing about the film beside Salman Khan’s presence is his chemistry with Jacqueline Fernandez. With news of him buying her a flat in Bandra, one thing was clear, the impression in the media is that Salman and Jacqueline are some sort of an item.
At a recent interview with Koimoi, when Jacqueline was asked whether she takes it as a compliment that her chemistry with the superstar was so fantastic that such has been spilling about her, she said, “First of all in a movie, I as an actress don’t think that you can work on the chemistry. It is something that is either there or just not there. Sometimes you can actually feel it with your co-star and at other times you don’t. It becomes really difficult then. Probably you can try your best to achieve it and may be you can get away with it but it is mostly very natural. Me and Salman have gotten along so well and that shows probably.”
Fernandez continued with telling us about her first tryst with Salman, “I never knew Salman before that even till the day we started shooting. We had not even met before the shooting had begun. I first went met him when I had gone to Bigg Boss to promote my film Race 2. I had randomly seen him at a few award shows. But until our shooting, we hadn’t met. He is someone who is so kind and so caring. And not only to me but also with everyone from Randeep Hooda to Nawazuddin Siddiqui. If you think he and me have chemistry, you should see him and Sajid Nadiadwala. They have like epic amazing bromance. The best thing about Salman is how he accepts people into his family.”
The actress has clearly worked very hard on this film. Despite a weak Hindi, the actress has dubbed her own lines in the film this time. She said, “I have worked extremely hard on the script and the character. My focus was that I don’t disappoint my director or my lead actor. I did my best at not leaving any stone unturned. I even did my best at dubbing my own lines. Salman is someone who greatly appreciates hardwork in a person. What we have is mutual respect for each other and it is a very genuine love we have for each other. I see him as my co-star, as someone whom I have worked with and enjoyed and loved working with but there is nothing more than that.”
Kick is slated to release this Eid and will star Salman Khan as the main lead along with Jacqueline, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. The film marks the debut of Sajid Nadiadwala into filmmaking
