The organization has also reached out to the directors Raj Nidhimoru and Krishna D with a copy of the notice and they have been requested to bring down the posters and trailers of the film from all Media outlets, print, electronic or the digital mediums! The ‘advertisement’ rather the trailer featuring Saif with a fag in his mouth tentatively has called for supervision and the uprising against the actor. A copy of the notice has been served to Goa Police and the North District Administration calling for a ban on the film.

Saif, who is an idol to millions today is said to have evoked the passion for all his ardent fans to imitate his action and start smoking and the portrayal of a popular icon smoking a fag is a violation of the ceremonious Section 5(1) of The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003. The Act which came into effect from May 2004 has earlier helped NOTE lash out to Saif’s counterpart contemporary and the Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan for his public smoking stint at an IPL match last year.

Creativity cannot be imbibed from the style of smoking a cigar and making it available for public view, the NOTE reprimanded as they have called for the ultimate showdown with all the posters of the film being pulled down and the trailer being stopped from showcasing until the smoking sequences are deleted from it.

Looks like it is hard time for Saif! A public brawl leading to imprisonment, the Agency suing case and now this!

Reportedly Saif too has a hearing on the 8th of this month and seeing the line of incidents, it is not hard to say that Time isn’t shining great on this Ole Ole star!
