Actor Saif Ali Khan is back in news after a long time. However, this time not for a good reason! Mumbai court has framed charges against the actor for allegedly having assaulted an NRI Businessman and his father at Mumbai’s plush hotel two years ago.

In 2012, the actor was accused of assaulting a South African businessman Iqbal Sharma and his father. The Nawab was present at a suburban hotel with wife, Kareena Kapoor and sister-in-law Karisma Kapoor when the brawl broke out.

Charges have been framed against the actor and his friends Shakeel Ladaka and Bilal Amrohi under section 325 (assault) and 34 (common intention) of the IPC. Saif Ali Khan and his friends pleaded ‘not guilty’ after hearing the charges yesterday. In 2012, the trio were arrested after the NRI businessman had filed charges, but were released on bail.

Now, two years later the incident, the hearing in the case against Saif Ali Khan is said to begin from April 30th.
